As a non-profit initiative, Fuse is creating more opportunities by showcasing potentially unknown, undiscovered talent through a directory of BAME (Black, Asian and minority ethnic) creatives based in and from Greater Manchester. This resource is a tool for you to find, connect with, and include ethnic minority creatives.
We’re using our Instagram page, to showcase the best, inclusive, diverse publications and creative printed matter to get your hands on; known as ‘In-print.’ Every day, there’s open calls, opportunities and events we shout-out too, so drop us a follow!
Recently, we hosted our first creative event, diffuse, to workshop a manifesto & also featured creatives on this very platform - hosting in-depth conversations.
We’re aiming to help events, talks and exhibitions in our creative scene become more racially equal, whereas those in creative education can engage all students by inviting diversified guests to lectures and workshops.
If you’re an organiser, director or lecturer - push for a more racial representation within your field + work.
If you’re a fellow creative, get in touch and collaborate with the abundance of talent within the list. If you know of anyone who should be on here, please nominate them too!
