A BLOG CALLED HOWL (ONLINE)

Howl is a celebration of artists from around the UK - hosting interviews with many creatives of colour. To convey thoughts and issues.

AIGA DESIGN + DIVERSITY (ONLINE)

An online page by AIGA, dedicated to hosting tons of articles, resources and people to learn about - all surrounding diversity. Part of AIGA Eye on Design.

ARTS EMERGENCY (NORTH WEST)

A mentoring charity and organisation for creative students within GCSE and University. They've created a network to open success in the future for the next generation.

CREATIVE DIVERSITY APPG (LONDON)

Cross party group in parliament to identify and tackle diversity in the creative sector.

DESIGN CAN (ONLINE)

A new campaign and tool calling for an inclusive design industry.

DESIGN FAULT LINES (ONLINE)

An instagram page, weekly showcase of women and non-binary creatives of colour.

DO THAT THING (BRADFORD, MANCHESTER, LONDON)

They're a mentorship scheme for young BAME (Black, Asian and Minority) creatives and students, allowing them to be mentored by prolific BAME creatives from September onwards.

FRESH MAGAZINE (MANCHESTER, PRINTER)

A self-published zine, now working on it's 4th issue. Their website also hosts editorial pieces, shining a spotlight on BAME creatives.

GAL-DEM (NATIONAL)

Online and print publication sharing perspectives of women and non-binary people of colour. Regularly creating events and spaces, posting written articles and featuring notable people.

HALCYON MAG (ONLINE, PRINTED)

A space that empowers Muslim women & provides a platform for their diverse voices.

INTERN (ONLINE)

An online community who regularly speak about diversity among various other cultural issues.

KERNING THE GAP (NATIONAL)

A large organisation, focusing on gender equality. Hosting events and recently, now working on mentoring students.

KDHIR COLLECTIVE (ONLINE, PRINTED)

Multidisciplinary collective platform for Muslim creatives and artists. Through a biannual printed zine and online platform, regularly showcasing features.

KIDS OF COLOUR (ONLINE, EVENTS)

Kids of Colour focuse on the effects of racism on young people of colour. Primarily using events to explore race, identity and culture, and challenging everyday and institutionalised racism

LADIES, WINE & DESIGN MANCHESTER (ONLINE, EVENTS)

A conversation series hosted by Dani Molyneux and Tali Cahani and the LWD MCR team Alex Francis, Katie O'Rourke and Nina Hamer. A non-profit initiative aimed to support female creatives, with an inclusive stance.

MAKE ROOM ZINE (MANCHESTER, PRINT)

Make room for creative women. A publication, now working on a second issue about mistakes.

NII JOURNAL (LONDON, PRINTED AND ONLINE)

Print publication exploring the issues of representation and race.

OVER HERE ZINE FEST (NORTH WEST)

Zine festival space showcasing and celebrating POC publications and activism.

RACE ZINE (ONLINE, PRINTED)

A northern based platform, using experimental events, zines and hate to create change.

RIPOSTE MAGAZINE (NATIONAL, PRINTED AND ONLINE)

A magazine and online platform for women, by women. Mainly surrounding gender equality in arts and culture.

ROOT-ED ZINE (NORTH WEST, PRINTED)

An independent magazine and social platform for NW creatives of colour. Now on their 8th issue.

TENDER HANDS PRESS (GLASGOW)

Community focused risograph press, aiming to diversify DIY spaces and print. Publishing printed works by marginalised creatives. Hosting workshops and events.

THE OTHER BOX (NATIONAL)

A huge organisation working on various things. They have a community of BAME students and creatives, regularly in group discussions on Facebook. They also host events, primarily in London and have their own jobs board, blog and courses.

THIIIRD MAGAZINE (PRINTED)

A magazine, re-challenging the meaning of ‘diversity’, prioritising representation through their printed issues.

WEPRESENT (ONLINE)

Presenting the unexpected within creativity. Expect an incredibly diverse range of topics, artists and showcases, told by WeTransfer.
